AntiMatterHorns - I Wanna Dance With Somebody

Quarantine and canceled shows have us feeling cooped up, and we just want to get out and dance! (When it's safe and socially responsible to do so, of course.) In the meantime, we got together virtually to play one of our favorite songs.

Funkrust Brass Band - Ignition

In the midst of the stay-at-home order due to the COVID-19 pandemic, unable to gather for rehearsals (much less play sweaty, packed shows), we decided to see what would happen if we recorded a song together, separately from our apartments. This is the result, our newest song, Ignition, cobbled together from phones, laptops, tablets and a few cheap mics.

Funkrust Brass Band — Terminus

"Terminus" tells the epic story of a band of weary musicians crossing an urban wasteland, following a pirate radio signal broadcast by the voice of resistance against the forces of despair.

The video was shot on Super 16 film over three days in some of New York City's most notorious underground and abandoned places. The production features twenty members of the Funkrust Brass Band as the cast, two dancers and a large crew led by director Iain Marcks and award-winning cinematographer Jendra Jarnagin, with production designer Sam Wilson, renowned mask-maker Darrell Thorne and choreographer Billy Schultz.

Antimatterhorns — Sucker (Jonas Brothers Cover)

On Friday, March 1, 2019, the Jonas Brothers released their first new single in almost six years, a certified bop called Sucker. On Saturday, March 2, Antimatterhorns played it at the Brooklyn Mardi Gras Brass Band Blowout at the Gemini & Scorpio Loft. Arrangement by Matthew Cain.

Funkrust Brass Band — Catch Yr Death

Recorded live in an empty office for NPR's Tiny Desk Contest, March 2018.

Funkrust Brass Band — Riptide

Filmed on location at Coney Island.

Frunkrust Brass Band — Zoology

"A muscular but light-hearted fanfare with some slick choreography. It seems destined to shake a little funk into a few sleepy commuters' rides." - NPR Music
