Brass Monkeys — brass quintet

Performing primarily seasonal and holiday fare, the Brass Monkeys can transport any holiday event to another level. They'll add some traditional German polkas to an Oktoberfest party, create a Christmas carol singalong at a holiday fundraiser, or add some brass to a wedding or religious service.

Matthew played tuba in the 2018 premiere of Eric Farber’s experimental opera The Parade Ground at the Fresh Ground Pepper Festival. The show began in a theater and took the audience on a parade to the end of a pier in the Hudson Rive. Matthew played tuba, sang, and did some basic acting in the production.
