Before we walked into the space, I turned on my phone's camcorder. What came out of it was a pretty good glimpse of what it's like to be me during a performance. And a really good view of my spin.

Funkrust hit the road this weekend to play shows in Trenton, NJ and Philadelphia. It's always fun to play in front of new crowds who don't know what to expect.
And also, Molly Rhythm was there, and they're phenomenal.
Just got home from playing a huge benefit at the Javits Center in New York. Now I can officially say I've opened for Coldplay.
Yesterday, I played a math pep rally for a bunch of 3rd and 4th graders before 10am. Then I drove to Maryland. It might have been the most productive day I've ever had.
Mysteryland USA just announced that they were cancelling this year's festival. I played it last year. The announcement isn't very sad — or really all that surprising.
My new freelance horn section had two gigs yesterday — one with my friend Matt DeMello's band, and one partying with some DJs at ridiculous o'clock in the morning.
